This was our 2004 Version of Christmas Tree - with Oberon - Maine Coon Cat (usually called Obie...) sitting contemplating life beside it before we took it down last week

... the tree, that is, not Obie - he just cleared out as we did that the same way he does whenever we bring out that Evil Sucking Machine which he's been avoiding for years - but which he still has managed to escape...
